A day of collective reflection and experimentation exploring the role of artificial intelligence in organizational decision-making.
This seminar organized by the Transition Design Lab explores the relationship between artificial intelligence and decision-making within organizations.
Designed as an experimental and reflective space, it questions the role of AI not only as a tool but as a potential actor in organizational decision processes. Based on concrete situations shared by partner organizations – SNCF, MAIF, BPCE, FNCuma, 110 bis (Ministry of Education), Artemis – participants will be invited to:
The seminar will result in a collective mapping of AI uses and potentials in organizations, as well as a shared reflection on how AI transforms decision cultures and practices.

Presentation by Chantal Joie La Marle, Head of CSR at SNCF, on AI-assisted decision models.
Collective work: identify and describe concrete decision-making situations in participating organizations, specifying the actors, tools and criteria involved.
Small group work imagining how AI could be embedded into the previously identified situations - exploring roles, boundaries, and consequences.
Group presentations followed by a discussion on organizational, ethical, and human implications.
Summary of key insights and presentation of future research directions.
The seminar is open to partners of the Design of Organizations Chair and by invitation from the Transition Design Lab.
